Student Work Experience Program

Since 1995, the Summer Work Experience Program (SWEP) has provided Queen’s undergraduate students with an engaging, challenging and rewarding summer work experience. Funded through the undergraduate portion of the Student Assistance Levy, the program encourages creation of on-campus summer jobs that provide valuable experiences for Queen’s undergraduate students.

Students in The Bachelor of Health Sciences program have been approved to complete an internship through QUIP! Test-drive a career with a 12-16 month paid, professionally supervised internship and learn about current advances, practices and technologies in business and industry.

Queen’s Feminist Collective

The Queen's Feminist Collective (QFC) is a club focused on advocating for the empowerment of women by fundraising for local organizations in need and raising awareness for current and historical issues pertaining to women. We operate with a strong emphasis on EDII, accessibility, and intersectionality. QFC aims to host events on campus including speaker events, fundraisers, and conferences as well as continue publishing our social media series and other online content.

Queen's American Sign Language

QASL is a student-run club at Queen’s University that aims to help bridge the gap between the Deaf, Hard of Hearing, and hearing communities. We offer free, weekly ASL classes to our registered general members and provide workshops for various Queen’s clubs and local organizations. Our overall goal is to improve accessibility for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing communities in and around Queen’s campus!

Queen's Relay For Life

Relay For Life is a twelve-hour, overnight, non-competitive relay where teams of students get together and fundraise to support the Canadian Cancer Society.They then participate in a night filled with musical performances, team challenges and fun activities as they take turns walking around a track. Throughout the night, participants continue to support each other all the way till dawn when they leave the relay inspired to fight for a future free of cancer.
