Each year, Providence Care partners with community members who give their time and skills to support patients, clients and residents in a variety of ways. Volunteers join us in our Mission to “enhance the quality of life” of each person – and many find their experiences as a volunteer personally fulfilling as well.

Volunteers at the Hotel Dieu and Kingston General Hospital sites of Kingston Health Sciences Centre contribute 85,000 hours a year in 80 programs, services, departments and units and help raise close to $750,000 annually toward the purchase of equipment and patient comfort items.

KFL&A Public Health volunteers are an important part of a dedicated team working towards better health. We welcome and encourage applications from people with disabilities. Accommodations are available upon request for candidates taking part in all aspects of the application process.
